What is the boss in Merge an SCP?

The clearest reading we have of the boss's name comes from one clip: the game's Indonesian-language client shows a health bar reading out of 100K under a name tag that reads Veritas, with a countdown above both reading Berakhir dalam. "Berakhir dalam" is Indonesian for roughly "ends in," so that clock counts down to when the fight stops, not to when the boss appears — it is a window you are racing rather than a wait.
We are not calling that name settled. This wiki's own open questions page records the same boss captioned Verity in one language client and Veritas in another, and nothing we have watched tells us whether that is one entity under two translations or two different things wearing the same fight. Veritas is the label we can point to a frame for — the one above — not a name the game has confirmed.
More than one player looks to be involved. Several differently sized cash rewards popped over Veritas within the same instant of this clip, and the health bar fell faster than we would expect a single attacker to manage alone. We are reading that as multiple players landing hits together, not as something the game states outright — nothing on screen counts the attackers or names how many can join, so treat any mention of "the whole server" hitting it as our read of the pattern rather than a confirmed rule. That is also why nothing on this page turns the health drop below into a per-player damage rate.
How much health does the boss have?

100K, and we watched it come down. At nine minutes one second left the bar read 90.1K. At eight minutes fifty-eight it was around 89.5K, partly covered by damage numbers flying over it. At eight minutes twenty-seven it read 77.7K.
That is 12.4K of health in thirty-four seconds of clock. We are not turning that into a rate. It was one server, one moment, with however many players happened to be swinging, and the next fight will have a different crowd.
What do you get for fighting the boss?

Cash, while the fight is still running. Five separate amounts popped over Veritas within the same second: 13.4M, 11.2M, 18.1M, 17.3M and 24.4M. They behave like an immediate payout for damage dealt rather than an end-of-fight reward.
What we cannot tell you is what killing it gives, because we have not seen a boss die. Every clip we have ends with the countdown still running. That gap is deliberate on this page rather than filled with a guess.
Is there a daily task for the boss?

Yes. A task reading damage to the boss sits in the daily list alongside the four we already knew about — activate your shield, make 25 merges, play for a number of minutes, and ignite the cannon.
The target number is covered by the streamer's own camera in every frame we have, so we are not printing it. The progress counter was legible: it read 3.38K partway through a fight.
